Boating can be at its very best when going out in a flotilla.
It is a great way to gain boating experience and confidence, explore new destinations and make new friends.
Preston Marina encourages and supports our berth-holders’ informal cruises-in-company to destinations around the Irish Sea. Often some of our RYA Instructors are among the fleet in their own boats.
Some cruises are just one day, and sometimes longer…a weekend or more. Occasionally there are cruises onto the local canals too (for smaller boats).
Because of our location, it is important to have the right sort of boat if you want to join in.
The boats in the flotillas here are usually offshore motorboats, with diesel engines capable of cruising comfortably and reliably at at least 10 knots.
.
PLEASE NOTE; Cruises-in-company are not organised by Preston Marina and are not a commercial activity of our company. Every skipper is responsible for their own vessel and the safety of themselves and their crew.
