Marina Berthing Application Process

If you are looking to keep a boat at Preston Marina (other than short term visits) then you will need to make an application which will be reviewed by us.

In order to do this we ask for the following please;

  1. Fill out our Berthing Licence Application form – download here (or collect from our office)
  2. Please provide us with at least 1 recent photo of the boat.
  3. Please provide us with a copy of the boat’s valid insurance certificate.
  4. If the insurance requires it please also supply a copy of the most recent survey report for the boat.
  5. Please supply some proof of ID (Drivers licence / passport)
  6. Please supply proof of residence (utility bill etc)

We will then consider your application for a berth at Preston Marina.

Please note

If your boat’s main propulsion is a PETROL ENGINE PLEASE CLICK AND READ HERE BEFORE MAKING AN APPLICATION

PROJECT BOATS are not accepted for berthing at Preston Marina

LIVEABOARDS –  we do not offer residential berths. Liveaboards who are continuously cruising may be accepted for short term berthing.

ALL BERTHING CONTRACTS BECOME VOID IF THE BOAT CHANGES OWNERSHIP WHILE AT PRESTON MARINA.

The new owner must apply for a new berthing contract as above (although photos of the boat will not be necessary)
