Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695 – A great all-rounder…

We don’t generally recommend  petrol engined motor-boats for use from Preston Marina – CLICK HERE TO READ WHY…

.

But the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695 is a genuine exception, and indeed could be a great choice for anyone looking for a simple and highly versatile boat that can be enjoyed in many different ways from a berth here at Preston Marina…

.

  • SEA CRUISING – The MF 695 is seaworthy enough for coastal weekend trips – for example to North Wales and Anglesey with a choice of beachy anchorages, or marinas – or up the Cumbria coasat and Piel Island.
  • INLAND CRUISING – The MF 695 is also small enough to fit onto the canals (and low enough to get under the bridges) – for some very tranquil countryside cruising* – alternatively you can enjoy a river cruise – perhaps to the adjoining River Douglas for an overnight stay at a traditional boatyard.
  • SEA FISHING – The MF 695 has it’s DNA in sea-fishing, and would be perfect for a day or weekend’s fishing off the Lancashire coast
  • PICNIC & WATERSPORTS – Or just have a few hours wake-boarding in the river – yes the wake on the MF 695 is a pretty good wakeboarding wake and the boat has plenty of pulling power…or just anchor up in the river for an onboard picnic lunch for a couple of hours.

.

The Merry Fisher 695 is easy to maintain, easy to handle and affordable to run – it’s compact size means low marina charges, and the modern 4 stroke outboard engine is very economical, and refueling with jerry cans is not too impractical for this boat.

.

The MF 695 is also an ideal first boat for those looking to get into coastal boating and cruising – and our RYA training courses can help newcomers get their boating skills and knowledge started.
