Many non-boating people find the relaxing and cosy atmosphere an ideal meeting place and we often welcome Prestonians returning from away who are amazed at the changes they see at the old Preston Docks, while others use it as a watering hole when enjoying a cycle ride or stroll along Preston’s Guild Wheel, which we are right beside. We are very cyclist friendly with plenty of bike racks onsite.
During the week many of the people now working in offices on the Docklands find it a great break from the office at lunchtime. Our Coffee Shop staff work hard to offer a variety of tasty snacks & meals.
On a sunny day the scene takes on a continental atmosphere with al fresco dining & drinking away from the office and phone.
On a Thursday evening the Pizza Oven is on and we proudly serve our home-made, stone baked pizzas. The bar is open too, plus our delicious coffees and ice cream sundaes are made to order. In the autumn/winter look out for the “Event Nights”. Details of these are on the home page of the website under “Events”. Booking is advisable for the music nights as they are proving very popular.
Also, quiet and well behaved dogs are welcome, we even have a special Doggy Menu, including sausages & a special Doggy Ice Cream made by Fredericks.
