If you are looking to keep a boat at Preston Marina (other than short term visits) then you will need to make an application which will be reviewed by us.<\/p>\n

In order to do this we ask for the following please;<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Fill out our Berthing Licence Application form – download here<\/a> (or collect from our office)<\/li>\n
  2. Please provide us with at least 1 recent photo of the boat (unless the boat is already at Preston Marina).<\/li>\n
  3. Please provide us with a copy of the boat’s valid insurance documents (see below)<\/li>\n
  4. If the insurance requires it please also supply a copy of the most recent survey report for the boat.<\/li>\n
  5. Please supply some proof of ID (Drivers licence \/ passport)<\/li>\n
  6. Please supply proof of residence (utility bill etc)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    We will then consider your application for a berth at Preston Marina, also subject to availability.<\/p>\n

    Visitor berthing rates will apply until a long term berthing contract is agreed.<\/div>\n

    If your boat’s main propulsion is a<\/strong> PETROL ENGINE<\/strong> please click here<\/a> before making an application.<\/p>\n

    PROJECT BOATS<\/strong> are not accepted for berthing at Preston Marina<\/p>\n

    LIVEABOARDS<\/strong> –  we do not offer residential berths. Liveaboards who are continuously cruising may be accepted for short term berthing. (A “semi-residential” surcharge will apply)<\/p>\n

    INSURANCE<\/strong> – at least 3rd party insurance, minimum liability limit \u00a33,000,000 including wreck removal and pollution clean up in the name of the boat owner must be carried – in date and with all assumptions and conditions of the policy being met to ensure cover.<\/p>\n

    Berthing contracts are not transferable.<\/p>\n
