NOTICE TO MARINERS

RIVER RIBBLE  - PRESTON

PERCH 11 MILE NORTH

The Temporary perch and port day mark at 11 mile on the north side of the river at 53.43.590N, 3.00.090W has suffered damage by storm debris and has been partially felled.

Elements of the perch structure, including the piled foundation, are submerged at times other than low water representing an underwater hazard.

This hazard and the service of the day mark have therefore been reinforced and assured by the placing of a Red Buoy at the site.

A permanent replacement perch and port top mark will be erected at the earliest opportunity.
