When the new shape X2 was launched in 2006 – it quickly became MasterCraft’s No.1 selling model – and its easy to see why. Although only 20’ long – she feels positively enormous as her deep V tames the chop, while the stepped hull provides extra lift for the quick planning that you expect from a MasterCraft. The “SuperFly” bow really makes the bow a comfortable and spacious area, as well as helping through spray away from the boat for a dry ride. When it comes to the performance of this boat – well -you don’t need to take it from me…ask anyone involved in wakeboarding and they will tell you that in the 20’ category the X2 is a world-class wakeboard machine, with MasterCraft’s hallmark transition, and crisp lip making her the boat of choice for such events as The UK Rider League – as well as countless others worldwide. What may come as a surprise however is that, once those enormous ballast tanks are empty she becomes a superb ski boat, with the low soft wakes that slalom skiers (and novice boarders) will love. This particular boat was purchased new from us and is in mint condition. Having been only used on fresh water – and not very much at that, with under 100 hours on the clock at the time of writing.
