For a length of just under 21’, the space on this
yacht is quite amazing – with good “stooping” headroom below and
an open plan layout giving 4 berths (a double in the bow and a
single along the port and starboard sides).
Towable behind a modest vehicle, the Cox 21 can
make the most of the wide variety of cruising grounds we are
lucky enough in this country to have available to us.
Although “Morning Mist” has been sailed on the
English Lakes, her bilge keel design makes her in ideal
candidate for coastal cruising where drying out may be required.
“Morning Mist” has benefited from a significant
amount of recent renovation work which, in our opinion, has been
carried out to a good standard. The woodwork inside and out has
been varnished to an attractive gloss which sets the boat off
nicely. The hull and deck are original gelcoat, with recently
re-painted non-slip deck panels which again accent the overall
look of the yacht nicely.
Being a lakes originated yacht, she does not
boast a large cruising inventory (although she does have a 10lb
anchor, fenders and warps), but she could be easily upgraded to
include the equipment an owner with coastal cruising
aspirations would need. What is on offer here is a well maintained
small yacht which we are sure will provide much enjoyment and
attract admiration from onlookers.
